Astellia offers a large set of passive probes designed to monitor 2G, 3G and 4G mobile network performance and quality of service. Compared to other optimization tools such as drive test, active testing and OMC counters, the advantage of probing systems is to provide a comprehensive and vendor-independent visibility into network and service quality based on all subscribers’ activity.

Probes enable operators to get access to a whole set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and call data records (CDRs / iPDR / xPDR) to identify and troubleshoot any problem affecting customer experience.

Astellia probes are designed to monitor multi-vendor mobile networks from radio access to core through the capture and processing of both user plane and signaling.
