The Ocean portable probe is designed for 2G, 3G and 4G access optimization and troubleshooting. It also offers a flexible way to carry out performance audits across the whole network.

Easily transported from site to site, the solution is used for applications such as new site integration, in-depth problem investigation needing a detailed understanding of the radio conditions experienced by subscribers. Ocean monitors GERAN, UTRAN and eRAN interfaces as well as Core PS and Core CS.

The use of the Ocean portable probe reduces the costs associated with drive tests and enables a fast commercial launch.

Application

The solution is also ideal for experts carrying out detailed investigations of complex problems impacting voice and data services, and represents a cost effective investment to periodically cover regions with less traffic.

Integrated solution

Supplied with its own compact suitcase, the mobile probe embeds the Nova Explorer application for thorough investigations based on KPIs, CDR, call-trace, protocol decoding and radio measurements.
